When the bride’s dying dog was carried down the aisle, nobody looked away. – BuzzOverDose

When the bride’s dying dog was carried down the aisle, nobody looked away.

For many of us, our pets are a beloved part of our family, and when we lose them, it can be incredibly difficult to say goodbye. This was certainly the case for Kelly O’Connell, who recently got married on what was both the happiest and saddest day of her life.

Kelly’s 15-year-old black Labrador, Charlie Bear, had been diagnosed with a brain tumor earlier this year, and unfortunately, he passed away on September 9th. But before he crossed the Rainbow Bridge, Charlie Bear was able to be by Kelly’s side on her special day.

Instead of walking down the aisle with the bride, Charlie Bear was accompanied by Kelly’s sister and maid of honor, Katie Lloyd. And even though he wasn’t able to physically walk down the aisle, Charlie Bear was still a big part of the wedding. The bride and groom even made sure to include him in their first dance.

Photographer Jen Dziuvenis was there to capture these bittersweet moments, and even though she was behind the camera in tears, she knew how important it was to document these memories.

In the end, Kelly and her husband said goodbye to their furry friend in a beautiful and touching way. The love and memories they shared with Charlie Bear will live on forever, and he will always hold a special place in their hearts.

Losing a pet is never easy, but the love and joy they bring into our lives is immeasurable. Rest in peace, Charlie Bear. You will be missed.
