The Dog Was Dumped At A Shelter At 19, And With Only A Month To Live, The Girls Turned The Dog’s Last Days Into Magic

The girls guarantee that the dog will not spend the rest of his life in the shelter.

Adopters frequently overlook older shelter dogs, but these dogs need love too. Every dog should be able to enjoy their golden years in a caring environment.
As a result of two friends providing her with a foster home and their commitment to making the dog’s final weeks of life as memorable as possible, one sweet senior canine is now leaving the world with a bang.
According to 9News, Dallas, Texas resident Lauren Siler learned about Annie, a 19-year-old shelter dog who needed a home. She said that the dog’s previous owners “dumped at the shelter” the animal.
Since Annie didn’t have long to live, it appeared that she would have to spend the rest of her days at a shelter. “The vet had said she’ll be lucky if it’s a month,” Lauren told 9News.
However, Lauren and Lisa Flores, who is also Lauren’s roommate and best friend, were so moved by Annie’s tale that they chose to adopt her as a foster child. Lauren remembered, “I saw her adorable little face sitting in her poor little kennel.”
The two roommates started posting updates about Annie’s adventures on social media and made a commitment to make the dog’s time left on earth as memorable as they could by creating a “bucket list” of exciting things Annie could undertake.
The fosters announced on Instagram that Annie would soon experience the best month of her 19-year life. She will experience love, receive royal treatment, and have plenty of cuddles, ice cream, and hamburgers. She won’t be left alone at a shelter when her time comes and she tells us she is finished.
Even though doctors only gave Annie a few weeks to live, she is still alive and well months later and is having the time of her life.
Annie has received a lot of love from people all over the world in addition to her two foster children since her story went viral.
The numerous presents and letters that people send her are documented in posts on her social media.
Lauren informed 9News that some of her Instagram videos have 4.2 million views. For her fan mail, “We had to buy a PO box.
Nobody anticipated Annie to live as long as she has, so perhaps she is just having too much fun to give up just yet.
The foster parents continue to give Annie the time of her life despite the fact that they are aware that her time will come sooner rather than later.
Lauren told 9News, “We’re going to let her keep experiencing life until she’s ready to go. If she had spent her final day in the shelter, it would have torn my heart much more.
What a charming tale. We are so grateful Annie has these two amazing pals to make her final days so memorable since all dogs deserve a loving home to spend the rest of their lives in.
