A few days ago, Simon went to the rescue of two very cute fox cubs stuck at the bottom of a storm drain, called the Hog’s Mill. The homeowner discovered the babies after hearing their cries in the back of her garden. There was no way to find out where the fox cubs came from and, thus, no way of knowing where to release them… Left alone, they would have drowned in the drain after a heavy rain. The best and, sadly, the only way to save them was to bring them back to the centre to join our group of orphan cubs. They have now settled down in our orphan shed with the other foxes.
