Rudy, a retired firefighter and monthly supporter of our rescue organization, stumbled upon Waka during a visit to the training facility. He knew he needed to help this desperate pup and immediately contacted us for assistance.
Upon receiving Rudy’s message, we quickly mobilized and set out to rescue Waka. We knew that gaining her trust would be a challenge, so we devised a plan involving a cheeseburger to help coax her out from her hiding spot.
