After purchasing a house, the new owner discovered a pit bull chained up in the basement, leading to a call for rescuers.

Stray Rescue of St. Louis received a call just when they believed they’d heard it all. “I just bought a house, and there’s a Pit Bull tied up in the basement,” the person on the other end of the telephone explained. “I have no idea how long it’s been down there.”

When rescuers got at the house, they saw a black and white Pit Bull at the foot of the stairs peering up at them.

Despite what had to be a terrifying event, the Pit Bull grinned and wagged her tail wildly at them.

Because her chain was so short, she could only take the bottom stair. After releasing the dog, they inspected the basement and discovered a large amount of excrement, indicating that the dog had been down there for some time.

When “Leaping Bean” came outdoors and saw people approaching her, she couldn’t stop herself from jumping up and down and dancing all over the place.

Her happiness persisted throughout her freedom voyage.

We’re certain that due to Stray Rescue of St. Louis, this joyful girl won’t have to wait long for a permanent home!
