We all have our nighttime routines. I like to unwind before bed with a cup of mint tea and a book. Sometimes, I’ll enjoy a couple of episodes of something if it’s a Friday or Saturday night and I don’t have to get up early. Then, it is off to bed where I sleep propped against two pillows. It’s probably not the best for my neck, but it’s what I like and it’s the only way I can fall asleep.

Our animals also have their own little sleep routines as well. My cat has a particular blanket that she likes to nap on, but only in the wintertime. During summer she prefers napping by the open window or sliding screen door.

Like most animals, there is one precious Shiba puppy who has his own sleep routine, and it involves his best friend.

Apparently, this cutie can’t sleep without his golden retriever bestie. As demonstrated by a video captured by their owner, these two are inseparable when it comes to sleep.

Wherever the golden retriever is, there you’ll find the Shiba pup snoozing right beside him! It must feel like having a giant teddy bear to cuddle with, since the golden retriever dwarfs the little pup. But neither seem to mind one bit.

In fact, in the video, you see the golden retriever fast asleep, his little lips twitching as he dreams. Then, the owner pulls down the blanket a bit to reveal the puppy sleeping right beside him.

Can’t go a nap without him!
