When Eddie Collins’ dog Jenny went missing at a gas station back in April, he vowed that he would never stop looking for her until she was safely in his arms again — and has been actively trying to find her every single day since then.
For the past several months, Collins has gone to local shelters daily, hoping that maybe someone turned in his beloved Jenny. He’s searched everywhere he could possibly think of, and has put up missing posters all over Tucson, Arizona, hoping that someone will have information that can help reunite him with Jenny. He’s even had his friends post on Facebook for him, trying anything and everything to bring Jenny home.
Unfortunately, Collins has had no leads so far, and so recently he decided to offer up everything he has in order to find Jenny.
In addition to a cash reward, Collins is now offering up his own home, and all of the property that comes with it, to whoever can bring Jenny back to him.
While this may seem extreme, Collins loves Jenny more than anything in the world and can’t imagine his life without her. To him, his home is just a thing — while Jenny is his family.
“For me, it’s not about material things,” Collins told News 4 Tucson. “It’s about her.”
Collins hopes that this huge gesture will help bring attention to his story, and cause people to keep an extra eye out for little Jenny. Clearly, he’ll stop at nothing until she’s home safe with him, and everyone who has heard his plea is rooting for Jenny’s speedy homecoming.
“She’s a loved one,” Collins said. “She’s part of my family.”
