A mama dog had been struck by a vehicle while going across the road to try and discover food for her young pup.
The little one might only sit by her side and wait not knowing what was taking place. But she was gone, and he was left to fend for himself.
Luckily, a passerby saw this and stopped to call a rescue. The rescue absorbed both the mother canine and the heartbroken pup.
The puppy would not drink formula and desired nothing to do with anyone or anything. He was totally shut down. They would certainly give the mama an appropriate burial and tend to the little one who required them most.
With no other option, they would certainly provide IV liquids to obtain the puppy the nutrition and hydration required. He’s now relaxing easily as the staff works around the clock to keep him alive.
He’s making stable yet slow progress and needs all the positive energy he can obtain!
