The puppy got bored of being a bystander and wanted to go with some family.
Stray dogs must be able to survive the dangers and hostility that come with living on the street. Many of them have to live their entire lives without a home, but there are those who are lucky enough to find organizations that will take them in and even put them up for adoption with new families.
Although it may indicate a bright future, few are very lucky. While others are taken in by satisfied families, some puppies must be content to simply be watched and remain in their cages.
When a request arrived at a dog shelter in Brazil, this happened to a puppy that went viral on TikTok because of his animated attitude.
According to Só Notcia Boa, it’s the “spirulace” of the German Shepherd breed that clung to the leg of a young woman who came to look at potential dogs for adoption. The dog was so frantic that he seemed to be making contact with her eyes and gestures that the only thing he wanted to do was get out of there.
The girl was simply thinking about what kind of puppies she would like and which would be the best to take home. However, this dog was so eager to break out of her little prison that all he wanted was to accompany her. In her eyes, she seemed to be “begging” to get out of there.
Despite the puppy’s apparent sadness, both the girl and the shelter staff found it amusing. The “dog” was put back in its small crate after being hung on its leg for a bit.
People who watched the TikTok video were touched, but also felt sad for the unfortunate little animal. “How can they keep saying they have no feelings when they say an animal like that doesn’t know what it’s doing and doesn’t understand anything about animals?” & “I cried even though I knew everything was going to be okay. Some people commented, ‘It hurts.'”
