Home Depot Welcomes Its Cutest Employee Ever

She went from very scared and very sad to the happiest dog.

Heaven is the name of the dog in this story, and she is incredible. She was a scared little woman when she was first rescued from the Kentucky River Area Animal Shelter. Heaven is now the most beautiful Home Depot employee in the world, and we’re thrilled to tell her story.

Jackie Rackers adopted paradise and the Dodo told how the duo’s outings to Home Depot turned a scared puppy into a happy girl.

“Home Depot tours started as a way to help her deal with her fears,” Rackers explained to The Dodo. “She was afraid of new places and sounds, so we would go for five minutes and she would get all the candy. Then we started going for longer and longer periods, which got her exposed to more and more things in the store.

Home Depot has a lot of interesting things for dogs to discover, and Heaven clearly finds these outings to be a great way for her to practice coming out of her shell.

Heaven comes out of its shell at Home Depot.

Heaven was so well-behaved during her visits to the Home Office that she was given her own apron.

“I keep it in the car so we’re always prepared,” Rackers said. “Once she realizes we are entering the parking lot, she simply shakes until I put [the apron] on her and she goes to ‘work.’”

“She walks around like she owns the area,” Rackers added.

Paradise has become a household name at Home Depot.

Heaven’s trips to Home Depot have also proven popular with store employees. Everyone knows her name, and her picture is prominently displayed in the employee break area.

Heaven also has a place in store.

She makes sure to meet new people while she’s there, and always chooses those who need my attention as the focus of her attention.

Heaven loves to make others happy.

Heaven has a way of finding people who need a laugh, a smile, or a warm heart.

“She goes around doing her own business and then insists on meeting someone,” Rackers explained. “She simply sits there and stares. They usually mention how much they need to be refreshed. It’s as if she knows who needs to tell how much she loves them that day — and one of her favorite places to do that is Home Depot!”

Rackers went on to add that Heaven might want to make others happy because she was so depressed.

“She was terrified of everything, but with a lot of practice and patience, she learned to trust, and now it’s like she’s paying it forward,” Rackers explained. “She goes out of her way to find people who need her and gives them a smile and a hug.”

The most rewarding aspect of rescuing an animal is watching it transform from terrified and depressed to happy and energetic. Their satisfaction is a direct result of your efforts, which makes you happy. Jackie Rackers understands how she feels because it happened to her dog, Heaven.

“She’s an example of what happens when you meet someone in their right place and love them unconditionally,” Rackers added. “She went from being scared and depressed to being the happiest dog.”
